Happy Birthday America!

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays!
There is nothing better than celebrating in Kanarraville with ALL the family.
We played at the park till 10 pm every night.
We were in the parade.....and won!
We 4 wheeled, ate lots of good food, visited, and danced the night away at the Cobblecrest.
We get to see so many friends and extended family.
We do lots of porch sitting.
And, blanket laying.
I seriously LOVE these traditions.
It's the best time of the year.

Happy Birthday Brittney

We have all been on a skating kick this summer.
Total throwback to Crystal Palace....and those are who are even older...Playland!
Love this place.
Love this girl.
Happy Birthday to my beautiful niece!

Summer Skate Passes

As most people know I LOVE SKATING!!
So, this summer we all bought summer skate passes and try to go all the time!
My brothers family, the Barneys, and whoever is up for skating shows up!
It is SO MUCH FUN!
The kids participate in the races - it's quite comical!
I have some pretty funny videos I may hold out until these kids start dating. :)
So, come join.
It's a total 80's flashback to crystal palace.
Hokey Pokey and all.

A little PRE 4th trip to K-town

Took a little trip up to Kanarra for a few days.
Mostly to help my mom with the house.
It was a short trip but SO fun!
I love my parents so much and I love Kanarra with all my heart!
We went 4 wheeling, (this all happened just days before the devistating fire)
I love the beauty there.  The silence and the peace.
How everyone is kind and waves no matter if they know you or not.
But pretty much everyone knows everyone. ha!
It was nice to sleep in my "new" room.  Have breakfast, lunch and dinner made for us daily!  We shopped, laughed, and loved every minute of it!

Thanks mom and dad for letting us come visit and taking the best care of me!

I seriously want this yellow truck from Keith.  It's his yard car but how fun would it be to roll in.

Bobbi Kristina

I had the most amazing opportunity to work with Whitney Houston's family for the Billboard Music Awards.  And honestly...nicest people ever.
I got to spend the entire day in their suite.
Eat lunch with them and chat about Whitney's life.
Something I will never forget.
What I DO want to forget is that I will be on an episode of their new reality TV show called the Houston Chronicles.
I hate that kind of stuff.  I know I sounded ridiculous.
Probably looked even worse and ugh....
anyways,
Bobbi Kristina was accepting the lifetime achievement award for her mom.  It was a very emotional night.
Lots of people stopping by to share stories of Whitney.
This was also Bobbi's first appearance since her moms passing.
I was very honored to be a part of this and am thankful for the Batterman Group in giving me this opportunity.

The only bummer about these pictures is that she had been crying pretty hard and I had no way of touching her up before these were taken.  So, she looks a little puffed up but considering.....
she looks good.

Weddings in the air....

I have had two friends get married in the past month.
Hadn't done alot of weddings lately...so I was excited.
Kari looked beautiful.  She's so super sweet and I wish her and Jared a lifetime of happiness.
And.....I wish I could blog pictures from her reception but that may be a little nervy...it was SO stinkin cute.  The decorations were amazing - exactly my style and I loved every single thing!

BEFORE

AFTER

Now, Heather had a traditional Indian wedding.
Her dress was amazingly beautiful.
The traditions of the ceremony were so cool to learn about.
I even participated in the ceremony.  Was NOT expecting that.
I did get henna drawn all over my hand which was beautiful.
Total fun 4 day event!
Lame that this was my only picture from my camera!
I'll have to bust out my iphone pictures soon!
Congratulations to Heather and Raza!
