spelling bee CHAMPION that is! Paige was in a spelling bee at her school. They picked the top 30 students to compete. I was so nervous watching. They had crazy words like monotonous, conscience, meloncholy and serendipity. She did awesome and one by one ALL the kids struck out. She totally WON! Congratulations Paige!

Cause for the Cure

KFC is teaming up with Susan G Komen to help raise money for breast cancer. They've even made their buckets pink! But, the best part is.....there are names all over the bucket of cancer survivors and my good friend Susie's name is on there! How cool is that? So, even if you don't want chicken (it is so stinkin good though)...try and get a bucket! It'll help raise money for the cause! The promotion is only through the end of May.

Now seriously? Who would NOT buy this luggage when it was so intently staring at me in the store? Calling my name? It now has a nice home. Matching in all it's glory. Waiting for me to take it somewhere nice.

I was featured on BETTER AFTER for my turquoise dresser! And, after seeing all this turquoise.....I'm ready to paint again. Doesn't that color just make you happy?

It's great being an aunt!

Mother's Day isn't the same when your not a mother, but my family always celebrates me! :) I love all my little kiddos so much! I got cards and gifts but most of all LOVE. Paige was in a play...she was the green knight. She did such a great job. I took Aurah with me and she was so excited to give her flowers.

Aurah turned 3. We had cake and ice cream. We danced and played. Her and Emmy are besties. They play like they are sisters (meaning they fight too).

I love being an aunt!

• my new bike. i feel like i'm 10 again. mine even has an awesome bell. i want to ride everywhere!

• please tell me you remember sea monkeys? i love these little creatures. i remember i had a little ferris wheel for them to ride and a baseball bat and ball. i'm SURE they really played. so, in another 5 days....you'll be seeing another post with cute little sea monkeys. i hope.
