Thanks for the love

After a few "situations" this week that weren't all that great...I could have felt sorry for myself. But, I quickly realized how blessed I am. How many people really care about me. I am so lucky to have such great friends and family! Thank you for making my week better. :) good things

• an awesome Craigs list find for a pottery barn desk
• a fun night out with a good friend..with good food...and good red mango
• also really good conversation :)
• helping Jodie move...and every time I did...good food was involved. I love you girls!
• working the Jerry Lewis Telethon. working with my best makeup buddies. laughing and crying. it was an amazing experience.
• Crafting with Amber. Getting a huge piece of glass in my eye. And having her help me get it out since I couldn't even see to walk in the house. Next time we WILL be wearing safety goggles.
• And I got to hang out with Amber so much the past few days which has been so fun!
• Got a new hair color. Dark. I love it!
• Got reconnected with a super old friend on facebook. Crazy! We talk everyday! Facebook is really wild!
• having my parents literally drop everything to come help Amber and I for a few hours. I love them more and more each day!
• After not feeling well....having my friend Susie pick up a prescription for me. It's just those spontaneous gestures that are so appreciated!
• AND...hitting our 206th sale on Etsy.

Summer.Fun.In.Pictures

Just a few randoms now that summer is almost over. WHAT?

• Went to California with Jen and Jodie. Had a blast! Went to Ikea, Fashion District, Flea Market, ate really good food...i mean really really good food. Shopped in Santa Monica on Third Street Promenade. Got my sand at the beach. Went by too quick.
• Introduced them to Pinkberry. Yum. And found out Jodie is a makeup artist.
• At the flea market...got the most unbelievable deal EVER. An estate sale. Of Fiesta! Are you kidding me? I couldn't breathe. Some pieces were $5.00 Sorry to the lady who died. But score for me! Also got alot of cute other treasures! Plus, a sunburn.
• Went to Kanarraville with Susie for a couple of days. Got to see my parents house. Siding is done. Looks awesome. But still don't want them to move.
• Had an envelope party at Ambers. She had her ultra sound and had Dr. Paul seal the results in an "envelope". Then we had Tanner read them that night. Let's just say she is the best "boy" mom ever! I'm so excited for her...even though I was secretly hoping for a girl! Well, I don't think it was a big secret.
• Finally organized my fabric. In my new cute turquoise table. Perfect fit for now. Easy to see and that makes me happy!
• Last but not least....do you see how cute that little monkey is? A little cowboy hat and all? Apparently the guy was charging $1 to take a picture. I didn't see that sign.

NIKE MUSIC VIDEO SHOOT

WARNING: This music video is a flashback to the 80's! Other than the working conditions, and the heat.....it was a super fun job to work on! And, I got to work with my 2 peeps...bj & jenna. I had to do makeup for 4 NBA players...whom at the time I had no clue who they were. Thanks for a quick call to my brother Dave and I got educated real quick! My clients were: Mo Williams, Rashard Lewis, Kevin Durant, Andre Iguodala, and DJ Quik.

Wait for the video to be released soon...playing in movie theaters, TV, footlocker locations...and many more! It's a very FUNNY video.
