SWIM DAY AT THE STEWARTS

I stopped by Jen Stewarts parents house on Saturday while they were having a little swim day. Unfortunately I couldn't stay and swim myself but it was fun watching Kaylee, Sadie and Xavier swim for a bit. Jen, your kids are really that cute!

Beautiful even at 6 a.m.

Megan's wedding this morning...EARLY! I had to get there at 6 a.m. clear across the world but it was all worth it! Doing makeup on someone this beautiful is a cake walk. And, the best thing is that she is so beautiful inside too! Congratulations!

DISNEYLAND

Some friends and I went on a quick trip to Disneyland last weekend! It was a blast and suprisingly enough - NOT REALLY CROWDED! I feel like all we really did was walk and eat. But I guess that's what makes Disneyland fun right? I loved Tower of Terror. Jen...you were right! It is that whole love hate thing. Jack...I'm glad you were a little off on the drops. It kept me more concentrated and Susie...you would have died! Seriously but, I had so much fun! And, the very last time - I finally opened my eyes. Yay!

Just one of....

Obviously a before and after. Doesn't even look like the same person! This is just one of the 14 people that Jenna and I had to do makeup for on Saturday! What a long day. It's definitely wedding season! The only hitch....we were booked for us to be in 2 weddings 2 places at the same exact time. Not really sure how that happened and pulling that one off was a MIRACLE. I'm glad this weekend is over.

insomnia sucks

I'm so irritated because I cannot sleep! So, I came up with this bright idea to run to the store and get some of those errands off my list for tomorrow. I know I know I know. Not a smart idea. But worse than that. Hi. I got a flat tire. And, my saving grace which is my dad....is out of town. Who else to call at midnight? What a night. So as if I didn't already have a busy day tomorrow....I'll be getting a tire fixed and by that time I'll probably be tired.

I can't remember the last time that both of my grandmas were in the same place at the same time. I had to take advantage of that! So, this is dedicated to Melba and Opal! Love you both!

E! entertainment

I worked today for E! Entertainment News and I actually had a blast. Unusual for a job I know. It was such a small crew and Jason Kennedy (the host of E!) was so funny! I basically just had to follow him around and make sure he looked good. That wasn't hard. One funny thing though is that he has a little bit of naturally curly hair so he wanted me to flat iron it and spike it after I did his makeup. I was cracking up. We did have a good ol lunch at the Mirage and then spent the afternoon in the revolution lounge; which was amazing. I can't really explain it - just go check it out! The episode will air next Friday May 18th at 6 p.m. I think it's called E's Sizzling Summer Preview or something like that. Should be interesting!

Also, if anyone reads In Touch magazine, this weeks isssue has "At home with Pink and Carey". And they did show a little piece of his shoe collection......my favorite part.

Also, sorry to Oscar losing the fight. I was very sad. I worked with him a couple weeks ago and he was so extremely nice. Ok and HOT HOT HOT! I'll post pictures next time. But, sorry Oscar, Really.

grandma came to visit

My grandma Rose came to visit and it's been way too long since I've got to spend time with her. So, we went shopping today....what I love best :) and had a blast. Do you know when you're shopping and don't realize exactly what you got until you got home. Yeah well, I realized I got 4 shirts, 2 pairs of shoes, a necklace, a bracelet, and the cutest Tylie handbag. We were only gone 2 1/2 hours. I had an addiction. But it was fun!

what a weekend

This has been the craziest weekend ever....in a long time. First of all, I want to tell Chelsey that I am thinking about her right now. Her fiance' Kirk was killed in a construction accident on Thursday. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Here's a picture of you two last Saturday at my house. He loved you so much! Don't ever forget that! I am so glad that I got the opportunity to spend time last week with the both of you hangin out and talking about your new apartment and stuff. I know the next little while will be really hard because your wedding date is approaching, but Chelsey....WE LOVE YOU! And we are all here for you. Aunt Susie adores you and we will get through this. Whatever you need. Good luck speaking at the funeral. You will rock. Do it for Kirk. He would want that. I love you Chels.

I saw LUCKY YOU on Friday with my friend Jen! It was a pretty good movie. Alot of poker but it was cool to see my work on the big screen. Thanks for supporting me in that. :)

I also had 3 seperate makeup jobs on Saturday...craziness! They all went well but the last one was an absolute hysterical unbelievably ridiculous party for a 13 yr old. Over a million dollars. It was at the Wynn. Just a few tidbits. The birthday girls name was Sydney and the theme was Sydneywood. (hollywood style)

-they rented 3 ballrooms at the Wynn Hotel

-had a live band plus a DJ

-hired fake paparazzi to take pictures of Sydney walking down a red carpet they had installed

-flew in look alikes of Tom Cruise and Paris Hilton to take pictures with the kids....mind you they were between the ages of 5-13

-they had a recording studio set up that all the kids could sing and each one could take a cd home....as many as they would like

-they hired the same choreographers who dance for Jennifer Lopez and Brittney Spears to teach the teenie boppers to dance

-they had a full open "virgin" bar with pina coladas and margaritas etc.

-they had an 8 course meal catered by a top chef at the Wynn

-they were all given "Sydney money" that they could go to a makeshift "Sydney store" and buy things like IPODS, tvs, cell phones etc.

-they had 3 different professional photographers who were taking pictures all night and then were having made hard bound books for all the kids to have as a memory

-they had videographers there

-we were at a makeup station for the kids to have their makeup done

ok. I can't talk about it anymore because I am getting seriously sick. I understand if you have money - that is awesome. I just think the kids might be a little messed up in life. And what on earth are these parents going to do when she turns 16, or graduates high school, or gets married? Am I wrong? At least I laughed hard all day.

CAREY HART

I'm so excited because I just found out that an article I did with Carey Hart for IN TOUCH magazine is going to be coming out in the next couple of weeks! He is THE nicest guy ever! I got the opportunity to work with him for his television show "Inked" and then did a couple photo shoots with him. The last one was at his house. So cool! ok. My kind of man. Please take a look at his shoes. I didn't feel right about posting pictures of his bedroom...but I will say he loves the color orange. What a freakin catch. I hear he likes Pink too. haha. I am a dork I know.

Lucky You: Photo Gallery Well, today is the day! I worked on this movie with Drew Barrymore and Eric Bana and it's finally released! It is so crazy that it takes so long to edit and release. But, I had so much fun working on this set! And to Kelly - even though it was long crazy hours, we always seem to have so much fun! At least we can reorganzie our kits for the billions of times that we always do! I hope the movie is good. If not, at least the paychecks were.

I FINALLY made my "happiness" photo cube that I have been thinking about for a long time. And, it took maybe an hour. How sad is that? It was fun though. And, as you can see.....Sonic Diet Coke is on my top 10.

OK. OK. OK. So everybody wants to know why I love Sonic so much! I'm not really sure if it's the crushed ice, or that there is a drive thru AND stalls or the fact that I have an unlimited 99 cent sticker. Ok all of the above. I'm just a Sonic freak. It makes me happy. Everyday!

We did makeup for this bride and afterwards she told us she liked the way she looked better without any makeup. Not really sure where that came from. I guess I can't win 'em all!

First of all....thank you to Heather, Brooke and Amber for helping me organize my blog! What would I do without all you smarties? I seriously am a geek.

I have had computer problems for the past couple of days so now it's like Christmas morning checking out everyones stuff. My life is pretty boring I guess. I will for sure post later but I had to show off these crazy cute shoes I bought for Aurah. Drew said she has more shoes than he does and she is 13 days old. I guess with aunts like me and Brittney (major shoe freaks) the girl will be blessed!
